HeART of Gaza Exhibition at Galway City Museum
|
On display until early 2026 - Monday–Saturday | 9am–1pm & 2pm–5pm Tourist Office Gallery, Galway City Museum - Admission Free HeART of Gaza is a powerful exhibition of artworks created by 26 Palestinian children, aged 3 to 17, sharing their experiences of growing up amid unimaginable hardship. Each artwork is accompanied by a personal statement from the young artist — heartfelt words about what they love, what they miss, the people they’ve lost, and the sights they’ve seen. This emotive collection is the result of a collaboration between Mohammed Timraz, a community worker from Deir al Balah, Gaza, and Féile Butler, an architect from Sligo, Ireland. HeART of Gaza is moving audiences across the world — a reminder of resilience, hope, and the universal spirit of childhood.
