Community Support Centres - Expression of Interest
Galway County Council is inviting community groups and organisations to put forward facilities that could serve as Community Support Centres during severe weather events. The initiative follows the experience of Storm Éowyn in January 2025, when the benefits of such centres were keenly felt across County Galway as communities confronted widespread disruption to services. The centres are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for residents affected by adverse conditions, offering access to essential services such as water and hot food, phone charging and broadband, and toilet facilities. Groups or facility operators willing to assist are asked to complete the Expression of Interest Form via https://forms.office.com/e/Lrk5J59vb3

From Friday 23 to Sunday 25 January 7.30pm - Town Hall Theatre The string quartet is no stranger to Galway audiences, in no small part thanks to the tireless work of the ConTempo Quartet.
