Barriers to involvement in Public Participation Networks (PPN)
|
We at S3 Solutions are an independent consultancy company who have been commissioned by the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) to carry out a piece of research to explore any barriers to involvement in Public Participation Networks (PPN).
We are keen to explore the demographic characteristics of groups and individuals involved in all 31 PPNs in Ireland and in doing so, investigate the diversity of participation. Where appropriate, we want to explore the barriers and challenges for diverse groups in actively participating in PPNs.
We will primarily use consultation to carry out the research. However, we are also conducting an initial exploratory survey, which you can access at the link below:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PPNQuestionnaire
Information gathered via this survey is for the purpose of informing DRCD and will not be used for any other purpose. The survey will take you approximately 20 minutes to complete, but it's ok if it takes longer. The final report will be shared with stakeholders.
